Privacy Policy

Teens On Track is a youth movement in Botswana guiding teenagers through academic support, life skills, mentorship, clubs, events and programmes. You can reach us at hello@teensontrack.co.bw.

When you register as a member or sign in, we collect:

• Your name and email address.
• Profile details you choose to provide (such as school, age or phone number).
• For members under 18, parent or guardian details and consent where required.
• Donation records and proof-of-donation files you upload.
• Messages you send us through contact forms or support chat.

If you choose “Continue with Google”, we receive your Google account's name, email address and profile picture through Google's secure sign-in service. We use this information only to create and secure your Teens On Track member account and to display your name in your dashboard.

We do not read your emails, contacts, files or any other Google data, and we never sell or share your Google user data with third parties for advertising. You can revoke access at any time from your Google account's security settings.

• To create and manage your free membership and dashboard.
• To review and approve donations that unlock magazine downloads.
• To process tutoring requests, tutor applications and programme participation.
• To communicate with you about your membership, events and support requests.
• To keep the platform safe, including protecting younger members.

Our membership is designed for teenagers aged 13–19. For members under 18, certain activities (such as tutoring) require parent or guardian details and consent. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Your data is stored securely on our hosted backend with access controls. Only authorised administrators can view member records, and only for the purposes described above. We keep your information only as long as your membership is active or as required by law.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with service providers that operate the website (hosting, authentication and email delivery) under strict confidentiality, or where required by law.

You may request a copy of your data, correct it, or ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing hello@teensontrack.co.bw. Parents and guardians may make these requests on behalf of members under 18.

If we update this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the website after changes means you accept the updated policy.
